Bed Time Story

Lupe reads the same 3 books to Gabe every night. I thought I should sneak in and share what goes on during this time. He reads the Children's Bible to Gabe. He loves it so much and knows it by heart and fills in and finishes some of the sentences. I had to crawl into his room and peek over the top of his bed. Press Play (the arrow on bottom left).

The other morning Gabe woke up-not in the best mood. That was no surprise, but when I asked him to do something, he refused and gave me this face. Not only did he threaten me with this face, but he also tried to push his laser button (on his pajamas) to shoot me!! A great way to start the day.....

5 years!

well here we are at 5 years of marriage. I am so greatful for every day with my amazing husband. He has brought so much love to my life along with the world's cutest boys. Thanks be to God for this wonderful life of mine. Happy Anniversary Lupe!

Creative Names

Gabe has a very creative way of naming things. Im not sure how he comes up with names but here is his new Build a Bear Leopard named Con King & his new fish named Moonshine.
A couple of weeks ago he adopted a snail and named his Moon Nuck. It was so funny whenever my mom referred to him, she would call him Moon Dung....hahaha. I love his creativity, love of animals AND bugs!!

Little Simeon- Blue Eyed Boy

Simeon was scheduled to arrive on May 5th via c-section. Well, he decided to come on his own time, as most babies do. I started having contractions on Sat. April 24th, and then they went away- luckily in time for our friends annual Crawfish Boil. I had a dr.'s appt. on Monday the 26th, and was examined. On Tuesday the 27th there was a beautiful full moon, and early the next morning the contractions started again. These were the "real thing" I knew it. Im not sure if it was the examination on Monday or the full moon on Tuesday, but this was IT!!!

We got to the hospital by 6am and the c-section was set for 8:30am. Simeon Antonio came into the world on April 28th at 8:55am. We were all so happy and big brother Gabriel has been such a great big brother!!

my 8 month "bump"

I am now 32 weeks along. I went to the dr. today and he scared me a bit by saying I was measuring large. He sent me for another ultrasound and it turns out Im measuring at 36 weeks, so this is going to be one BIG baby apparently. I didn't get to chat with the dr. after the ultrasound, so I'm hoping everything is still ok and on schedule. Here is my St. Patty's day baby bump pic!

my little boy is growing up

I am about 26 weeks along in this pic. I can't believe how fast it's going! Gabe sure does take part in making the time fly. I am so busy with him that I forget I'm pregnant most of the time. Well, except for the huge belly that gets in my way ;). I crave sweet & sour chicken just like I did with Gabe. Funny enough I really have only had some Chick Fil A for breakfast some days, but didn't want it as much as my first pregnancy.




So then the funny thing is- Gabe has a doggy in his tummy.
I am not sure where it came from, but he has himself convinced that he is growing a dog in his belly. It's the cutest thing. He tells me when he is eating, that his doggy likes or dislikes that food. The other day he told me that his doggy's hair is going to look just like his. Here is a picture of Gabe and his "doggy bump".
