Gabe has learned a new way to play peek-a-boo! It's quite funny.
I was noticing the ties from blogs and old friends.....and co-workers.
Just about everyone I worked with in Pearland either has a blog, or gets to visit mine. That makes me happy to see and hear that everyone is doing well. Tessie in KY., Kristy in WA., Steph in NC., Kelli & Michelle in TX., and I'm assuming the visitor from AL. is Amber??? Pearland PARD is in the house!! Hugs to all the girls!! First Time Trick or Treating slideshow

Our Family Picnic

The weather was beautiful on Friday. Lupe had the day off, and for lunch we got some sandwiches and had a picnic. Gabe and Lupe fun playing at a new park, and running around as usual. Here are some pics. Then I went with mom and sis to San Antonio for a stampin convention. I got to see cousins and their kids, but I missed Gabe SO very much. It was my first night away from my little junebug...... :(

We are getting ready for Halloween, and Fall in general. It's been so fun decorating, but Gabriel likes to un-decorate! It seems like he is right behind me pulling up what I just put down!!

My busy weekend

On Friday my Nona had her 60th birthday, and my cousins celebrated their

4th & 7th birthdays.

Then I made my silly scrunchy face that I love to do all the time !!

Then on Sat. I watched the UT football game with daddy-Hook Em!

and mommy tickled me crazy!

Then on Sunday we went out for the birthdays again- just family- and then went swimming at PaPaws and Mimi's for Mimi's birthday too!! Whew! so many birthdays and so much cake!! YUM!

Enchanted Nursery Fall Fest

This adorable little plant/flower nursery here in Richmond, has a Fall Fest every year. We went with a friend and her daughter. They have games, pumpkin painting, a petting zoo, and lots of yummy treats! It's the coolest free thing EVER!!!! Gabe has now learned how to ignore the camera, and do whatever he wants for photos. I was so lucky when he LOVED taking pics!!

We made it!!

All is getting better here! We made it thru Ike, and are trying to get things back to "normal". We were so blessed (THANK YOU GOD!) that here in Katy we didn't have too much damage. It was a VERY scary storm. I don't think I ever want to "hunker down" again! We lost power Friday night, and finally just got it back yesterday. My mom lost water and power at her house, and we had both been staying with my sister and her family (thanks Hutchins!). We went to clean up my mom's yard- mainly tree damage, branches and leaves, and she is still with out power. My dad's house is still without power as well, and he had to go out and purchase a generator. Please pray for all those that were not so fortunate. If they have donation places in your area, please help or give. Galveston and surrounding areas were hit so bad, and you see nothing but devastation on tv. I had to cancel my classes all week, because the neighborhood where I teach has not regained power yet. Lupe's district as well as all other main districts in Houston are still out of school, and supposed to return on Monday. I thank God that me and my family all made it thru, and are all safe and sound. Gabe did VERY well. He actually slept thru Ike very soundly. Having no a/c in Houston is HORRIBLE -My poor sweaty baby. One night at 2:15 am, he woke up so sweaty so our little family went out and sat in Lupe's truck just to get cool air. That night Shannon had gotten her power back, so we all went and shacked up over there! Hopefully we will not have another storm like that for another 25 years or more. I do have some videos and pics. to post soon. Take Care
