i can't believe yesterday was our 4 yr. anniversary!! we will be celebrating tonight, dropping gabe off at nona's (my moms) and going to dinner and a movie!! (just like the old days!)

Memorial Day & more!

ok, so I felt a little "White Trash" with our new pool and set up for Memorial Day. We got a plastic pool, and put up an umbrella for Gabe. I was drinking wine while he was swimming!! the All American Dream!! hahah!! a modified version of gabe's new hair-cut. This day it looked like Maddox's faux hawk.

My Tejano husband was grilling cowboy hat and all! -Good Times!!

then today.....da da da Gabe went pee pee in his potty!! Hooray!!

New Haircut and working out

Gabe got a new spikey- "big-boy" hair cut. I do have pics but they are on my mom's camera. Cant wait to show you all!!! in the meantime, I am now addicted to Twitter. It was facebook, but have now moved on. ;) I am also on the 30 challenge of the Wii EAS Sports Active. My sister and I are both doing it, and it's awesome. I am trying to be better. I even joined the YMCA a couple months ago, but it turned out Gabe hated it! So, I could only go REALLY early in the a.m. or wait til Lupe got home from work. So...., I am so proud that I am actually working out at home...SHOCKER for me!!

Lupe's b-day was on Feb. 9th- (Im a little late posting), and we had a nice family dinner. We had gone out with the whole family the weekend before. So I made his requested dinner of pasta & meatballs.

News Story: Daybed no more!

Well, the toddler bed is NOT working at all! He seems to hate his crib altogether now, and REFUSES to sleep there. If I get him to sleep and lay him down in there, when he wakes up he screams and is so mad that he is in there. He has ended up in our bed every night since we changed it. All that dang progress we had made in the crib has gone down the drain. So this weekend, we will be putting the side back on and starting ALL OVER AGAIN!!

He has had fun sitting on his potty in the den watching "Once upon a potty". Not actually doing potty training yet, but just starting vocabulary, and "putting it out there".
